Dexter Township, Michigan - Summer Taxes Due September 14th

A reminder to property owners that summer tax payments are due Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Dexter Township offices are open daily from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding Labor Day, Monday, September 6th. Please allow sufficient time for mailing as postmarks are not honored. After September 14th, one percent per month interest will be added to all unpaid tax bills unless a deferment has been granted (MCL 211.905b(11) and 211.59). Dexter Township will accept partial payments on tax bills; however, any taxes unpaid by the statutory due dates will be subject to applicable interest and/or penalties.
