Dexter Township, Michigan - Summer Taxes Due September 14th

A reminder to property owners that summer tax payments are due Monday, September 14, 2009. Dexter Township offices will be open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on that day. Please allow sufficient time for mailing as postmarks are not honored. After September 14th, one percent per month interest will be added to all unpaid tax bills unless a deferment has been granted (MCL 211.905b(11) and 211.59). Dexter Township will accept partial payments on tax bills; however, any taxes unpaid by the statutory due dates will be subject to applicable interest and/or penalties.
